Hi, I’m William.
This is my blog, which has gone through quite a few changes over the years. I started blogging in 1999 – though I didn’t call it a “blog” but just life updated. Each post was a separate HTML file and I was using iframes to make a left-aligned navigation menu with content on the main frame. It was a lot of fun back then and “life was simple” with plain old HTML, CSS and eventually Javascript.
In 2009 I started my own business online as a freelance web developer, and in 2015 I founded an online digital agency (www.d3fy.com). In 2019 we pivoted D3FY to be a service helping Nonprofits with their websites.
Today, I’m balancing life between running a business, spending time with my wife and kids, and recreating outside as much as possible.
